Prelims over, 'O' Levels just ahead.

Zz finally prelims over. Well, score was satsifactory, but hate the fact that a B4 for my English will make my whole report book look bad. Believe that the most improved is my A Maths, as I had scored 40+ 2008 mid year, 60+ 2008 end of year, 70+ 2009 mid year and subsequently 86 for this time.

Results: 2 B4 6 A1

Need to study more to maintain and improve those grades for the upcoming O levels

Well, putting that aside. Just watched a few anime series which I believe is worth mentioning.

1. ~Ef~ A Tale of Memories/Melodies
2. Bakemonogatari
3. Needless
4. Phantom ~Reqium of the Phantom~

Visual Novels

Quite a long time since I came in contact with visual novels. It appeals to me greatly when I was first noticed it while browsing through the origins of some anime. Visual novels are the roots of several animes, such as School Days and Clannad.

I started out Clannad as my initial visual novel, and got indulged in it. Since then, I've completed a list of visual novels, and am still trying to find more.
However, the majority of people might find it boring as it includes hours of mouse clicking and viewing the linear 2D pictures.

Recently completed Katawa Shoujo and Ever17. I strongly recommend both of the visual novels as they are worthy to mention.

Katawa Shoujo is about a teenage boy who has a heart disease and got transferred to a school for disabled people. This visual novel conveys how everyone is trying hard to live their lifes even though they are disabled, and greatly touches my heart.

Ever17 is about a group of people getting trapped in an underwater theme park LeMU.
It has one of the most complicated plot I've ever played before and it requires a lot of self thinking and analysis to perceive the situation. It also drives us to conceive several topics such as the Cloning Law, the 4th dimension and the Lost Continent Lemuria.

List of visual novels completed

1. Clannad
2. Fate/Stay Night
3. Tsukihime
4. Utawarenomono
5. Fate/Hollow Ataraxia
6. Kagetsu Tohya
7. Planetarian
8. Chaos;Head
9. Tears To Tiara
10. Katawa Shoujo
11. Ever17

Holiday Over

The holidays are finally over and this week is the start of school. Too bad our school didn't close down due to H1N1 outbreak. Well, I've done several things mentionable during the holidays. Completed 2 visual novels, namely Katawa Shoujo and Ever17. And finally had my long awaited Clannad Kyou OVA ;)

Wish that I'll be less lazy and start posting again.

So much homework and I do not have the motivation to complete them.. May be due to my irregular sleeping habits that caused me to have no mood to attempt that mountain pile of homework though. Would try to sleep early today and fix the optimum settings to do homework tomorrow.

Back in Action

Lolz, due to my recent Mid Year Examinations and my laziness, I neglected about posting, and even almost forgot about the existence of this blog =.= . Anyway, for my results. I've got a horrifying B4, which is my English, followed by my E Maths which dropped to a miserable B3. Haha, can't help but to worry how my 'O' Level results will turn out since I've seen my performance for Mid-Year.

I've just recently completed another visual novel called 'Tears to Tiara'. It was made by Leaf company and it had quite an interesting turn of events and quotes from it, unexpected from a typical RPG game though. The anime was the reason that stimulated me and got me hooked on it in the first place.

My favourite quote from the game was 'Arthur, if you ever came back, I will continue to walk the road of kings with you again.' - By Arawn AKA Lucifer

Here's a song of the day then.

Concentration, Accuracy, Precision

Today was a forgetful day for me >.< . 1 day of MC and I messed up my usual schedule. Forgotten to do my homework too. Well, got to last till Thursday, which is the School's Sports Day, and following Good Friday which I don't have school ;D . However, we received 9 english newspaper article as the trade off. Equivalent Exchange, it seems. Have to sacrifice the same value to gain something. Let me comment about today's topic 'Concentration, Accuracy, Precision' . Those are 3 key values you need in archery. However, I believe it's the same for life too.

In order to achieve your expected results, we must focus on the target and imagine that our 'arrow' is able to reach the target. That is concentration, which symbolises your will and your determination, basically your mind.

Next, we must perform the necessary tasks before the 'arrow' can successfully hit the target. Even archery requires the correct positioning of your feet, a good stance to pull the bow and the strength required to pull the string and fire the arrow. Likewise, you can't just sit down there and expect the 'arrow' to hit the target. Therefore, whenever we feel like achieving something, we cannot just relax and hope that the event does actually happen through miracles, and must strive hard towards it. That is accuracy, which represents the body.

Lastly is precision. After the 'arrow' hits the target, that's not the end of the game yet! One bullseye arrow does not determine the outcome of the whole match! You must be able to maintain that standard of peformance, and not to loosen your concentration and your accuracy. In life, after you have achieved your target, woah, don't go all the way excited and start your extravagant behavoirs. Instead, you should think of solutions to keep your performance, if better, improve on it! In my opinion, I believe this is the most unmanageable point that many people cannot achieve, as they are bewildered by their one chance success. It involves the constant management of both concentration and accuracy to achieve this stage, and it makes up your heart, the indispensable vital organ every human being requires.

Haha, very long isn't it, that's just my perspective, by applying an analogy to the reason of success in life.
